Otter’s new range of features and improvements has arrived for the second half of February 2024! We’re continuing to make your Otter experience faster, smoother, and more efficient, no matter which solution you’re using.
New in this release:
- Enjoy a streamlined Menus experience with additional pricing flexibility! We’ve further simplified the menu experience for Digital Dine-in and Online Ordering customers, allowing operators to manage a single menu with different pricing based on each fulfillment method (e.g. delivery, dine-in, or pick-up). This also allows operators to configure different local tax rates. Now, you no longer have to manage multiple menus to enable different prices.
- Lots of menu item options? No problem! We’ve just expanded the ability for you to effortlessly manage more complex menus. Now available via your Menus app, add multiple modifiers across all your direct ordering channels (now including kiosks, as well as Digital Dine-In and Online Ordering). How does this play out in practice? A burger restaurant could offer french fry options, like shoestring and waffle varieties, to accompany their award-winning burgers. These fries can have add-ons like cheese sauce and truffle aioli, too. Use this feature to give your customers even more customizable options, and increase basket sizes without the hassle of updating individual menus.
- Gain better visibility into your menu’s performance for deeper insight. Not knowing which items are actually doing well on your menu can impact the decisions you make when rethinking your menu strategy. With the new Menu Report tool in your Order Manager, you can instantly review how your menu is performing, which items are selling best, which items are selling less, and even track how you’re doing over time. Optimize, analyze, and make smarter decisions with Menu Reports.
