As of January 1, 2024, the minimum wage in New York City, NY is $16.00 per hour. This rate applies to all employers regardless of size or industry, and employers must pay the full minimum wage, without taking any tip credit. 

For tipped service employees, the cash wage is $13.35 with a tip credit of $2.65. 

For tipped food service workers, the cash wage is $10.65 with a tip credit of $5.35, applicable only to hospitality employers.
