Interested in signing your restaurant up on Grubhub? Look no further! In this blog post, we’ll walk you through the steps to get your restaurant registered on one of today’s top third-party food delivery services. Also: see the DoorDash Merchant sign-up tutorial.
Steps for Getting Your Restaurant on Grubhub
- Type get.grubhub.com into your browser to access the GrubHub Merchant sign-up page.
- Enter your restaurant’s business information (email address, phone number, etc.) into the provided form.
- After submitting the initial form, you will be redirected to a second form where you can continue the registration process.
- Review Grubhub’s available pricing options. Decide whether you’d prefer to use Grubhub's delivery service or your restaurant’s own delivery. Take your time to review the "Pricing Per Order" details. When you’re ready, click “Save and continue.”
- Next, the website will request your restaurant’s tax information. For assistance, contact your legal counsel to acquire the FEIN associated with your restaurant, or call the IRS Business & Speciality Tax Line at 800-829-4933.
- Once your FEIN has been verified, you will be directed to the last signup form. This is where you can upload your menu and build your restaurant's Grubhub profile to increase your restaurant's food delivery sales. You can even schedule a free photoshoot to enhance your restaurant's in-app branding!

- Plus Plan: Starts at 10% of all in-app orders. This plan includes zero platform/maintenance fees, a free Grubhub listing, an account advisor, a restaurant welcome kit, a free menu photoshoot, and access to Grubhub+ diners. Customers pay standard commission fees with this plan.
- Premium Plan: Starts at 15% of all in-app orders. This plan includes zero platform/maintenance fees, a free Grubhub listing, an account advisor, a restaurant welcome kit, a free menu photoshoot, and access to Grubhub+ diners. Your restaurant can also use Grubhub’s Promotion and Loyalty tools and respond to ratings and reviews. Diners pay the lowest commission fees when you use this plan.
